What's your passion in life? When you think about it, this is a question that can be difficult to answer, but should actually be easy – We all have ambitions in some form. We all have goals in life that we want to achieve.
Personal Training is all about getting the help you need to achieve your health and fitness goals. At Purity Health and Fitness, we like to look at the bigger picture. We believe that exercise and lifestyle go hand in hand. As you achieve your health and fitness goals, you will also gain more confidence within yourself, giving you a more positive outlook in your life.
Health and fitness goals vary, and every goal or ambition is created by a motivation. So before you look at getting a personal trainer, you need to ask yourself, what is your motivation? What brought you to look at considering a new exercise and lifestyle plan?
Now you need to know what you need to achieve to satisfy your motivations – What’s your goal?
If you know these , then this is the first step to getting to your goal. For example - "I need to lose weight and become more mobile, so that I can play in the garden with the kids". Or "I need to lose weight and get toned up, so that I can fit into that strappy dress party dress.
Training With Purity: When taking up a personal training course, you should see and feel a change, both physically and psychologically. The workouts are important, but educating and empowering you with the knowledge you need to help achieve your goal is equally important. When you work with us, we provide support throughout your experience:
Starting a Personal Training Programme: We start your personal training programme with a free initial consultation and assessment. By getting to know you and discussing your needs, together we'll be able to come up with a solution to achieve your goals.
During:
During a typical training session, we'll start with warm up activities and mobility exercises to prepare you for a workout.
This is followed by your main workout, which may involve a variety of exercises, based on your goals and needs. This usually means cardiovascular/aerobic exercise, such as cycling, boxing, treadmill. Sessions also involve resistance/toning/strength training exercises.
We finish with a cooldown, which involves adapting your body back to normality and stretching your muscles. This important stage helps you to recover and reduce the risk of injury. We often perform and activity known as assisted stretching to help maximise your stretching routine.
After and between workouts:
Our services don’t have to finish after your session. We provide a variety of aftercare and ongoing wellbeing services to further augment and encourage your training experience.
These include:
All our services are studio based but we can come to your home or other suitable venue should you prefer it. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
